Alex Otti, governor of the state of Abia, has appointed fourteen additional people to various positions.
The appointment of the new officials was announced in a press release signed by Mr. Kazie Uko, the Governor’s principal press secretary.
Kingsley Nkemakolam Agomoh is the general manager of the Umuahia Capital Development Authority, Justice K.C. Nwankpa (Ret.) is the Ombudsman, and Prof. Udochukwu Ogbonna is the chairman of the Abia State Board of Internal Revenue.
However, all appointments are subject to confirmation by the Abia State Assembly.
Others are Lilian Ezenwa, Senior Special Assistant on ease of doing business, Professor Vincent Eze Onwe, Provost, Abia State College of Education, Technical, Arochukwu, Chinenye Mba-Uzoukwu, Principal Secretary/Chief strategy officer, Godson Anucha, Senior Special Assistant on labour relations, Ure Abazie, DGM, Abia State Orientation Agency and Dr Idika Mba Idika who was appointed as the head of government house clinic, Umuahia.
Charles Egonye, Technical Assistant to the Governor, Elizabeth Chibuzor Chijioke, Special Assistant on Digital Economy, Okezie Ezengwa – DGM, ASEPA for Aba, David Anyaele, Special Assistant on Persons with Disabilities, and Kenechukwu Nwosu, Special Adviser on Education, are the remaining members.
