According to the group, Tinubu’s appointment signifies his positive intentions for the country and his commitment to inclusivity.
NDIIGBOWORLDWIDE reported that President Tinubu dismissed the former Service Chiefs on Monday and announced their replacements.

Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, the National President of the Ohanaeze youths, released a statement on Tuesday, praising Tinubu for taking a bold step towards national reconciliation, as he promised during his campaign.

He stated, “For eight years, we voiced our concerns about the absence of an Igbo man among the top security echelons of the country, but former President Muhammadu Buhari turned a deaf ear. He ensured that Ndigbo were completely marginalized during his administration. However, within a short period in office, President Tinubu has shown a strong willingness to correct those past mistakes.”
Continuing, Okwu emphasized that the appointment of Rear Admiral E. A Ogalla from Enugu State “clearly demonstrates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s desire to foster national unity. The previous administration handed over a highly fragmented country to him, like never before.”
“However,” Okwu added, “Mr. President’s recent actions have instilled hope in Nigerians that better days lie ahead. This comes shortly after the promotion of our own Frank Mba, another proud Igbo son, from AIG to DIG of police.”
He urged Ndigbo to offer maximum support to the Tinubu administration, emphasizing that they are confident in his plans for the country and his commitment to inclusiveness.
