APC victory in Imo 2023 Gov poll assured – Arodiogbu

Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, national vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), South East, believes his party would easily win the governorship of Imo on November 11.
Governor and APC candidate Senator Hope Uzodimma also declared his preparation for the election, saying he was confident that the good fortune brought by his administration will be reaffirmed by the voters of Imo State.

Senator Hope Uzodimma’s campaign secretariat was commissioned last Friday by APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and other members of the party’s National and South East Working Committee.

Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, National Vice Chairman of the APC in the South East, was one of the many prominent figures in attendance.

Dr. Arodiogbu not only turned up to such a monumental party event, but he also brought bags of red branded face caps to the Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu arena in Owerri, where the Campaign Council was being inaugurated, to show his support for Uzodimma’s re-election for a second term.

The slogan “Hope 2023: Powered by NVC S/E APC” appeared on the branded caps, which were funded entirely by the APC South East National Vice Chairman.

Dr. Arodiogbu, in an interview with journalists, praised Governor Uzodimma’s re-election effort as an idea whose time has come.

To this I’d like to add that the unsurpassable milestone achievements of the Uzodimma-led administration speak for themselves.

The health specialist from Imo said that Uzodimma earned all the praise he got for caring so much about the well-being of Imolites and for being progressive enough to appoint a woman as his deputy (Lady Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaru).

So, he claimed, he’ll do everything in his power to ensure the success of the APC in the upcoming election.

Arodiogbu asked the Ndi Imo to get in line behind the APC moving train and avoid engaging in partisan bickering.

APC has led the way by providing effective management and people-centered initiatives. Including all levels of government from the federal to the state to the local. APC is a people’s movement; Uzodimma’s first four years in office were successful; his second term will be spent consolidating his position.

Arodiogbu argued that “re-electing him for another four years should be a collective responsibility of all and sundry,” regardless of partisan affiliation.

Arodiogbu singled out the participation of the national leadership, saying it was well worth it.

But he reaffirmed his conviction that everyone will be able to celebrate the triumph come November.

Governor Hope Uzodimma is ahead of the game compared to his rivals. He has the support of the people and is the People’s Governor,” he continued.

At his inauguration, the governor addressed the people of Imo State, saying, “My wonderful people of Imo State, just as I have always maintained, the movement is above sectional and party feelings; rather, it is a consolidation on the successes of my administration in the past years, having restored the State from its dreadful condition.

You have given me the power to lead for the past four years, and I need it again for the next four. Together, we have rebuilt our broken infrastructure, repaired our ailing institutions, and reclaimed our beloved State.

For the benefit of all, “it is now time for us to usher in the next level of Shared Prosperity,” where the reforms and policies we have adopted shall play a significant role in our economic growth and stability.

On September 16, 2023, the following governors were present at the inauguration: Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State, Mala Buni of Yobe State, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, Bassey Otu of Cross River State, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejiocha of Labour and Employment, Imo APC Leadership, APC elected National and State Assembly Lawmakers, and top government appointees.
