Imo land grabbers create fresh strategies to trick the government
The ongoing conflict between Imo State’s land grabbers and the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Land Recovering, led by Mr. Paschal Nwakamma, has taken on a new dimension as the state’s land grabbers have come up with innovative strategies to win the conflict and continue operating.

According to information obtained by South-East PUNCH, Nwakamma is determined to ensure that all government-owned properties that land grabbers have unlawfully taken control of be returned, even though the land grabbers are unwilling to give up.
But, South-East PUNCH learned that the land grabpers were becoming uneasy due to their failure to advance, and as a result, they were rumored to have started planning how to withstand the assault and outsmart the state government.
Following and reporting on the Hope Uzodimna administration’s land recovery drive, South-East PUNCH found that the land grabbers had blackmailed Nwakamma, accusing him of transgressions, including corrupt practices, in an effort to discredit him in front of Governor Uzodimna, his boss, and the public.
According to South-East PUNCH, the attack was intended to impede the young SA from carrying out his lawful mission in addition to demanding for his dismissal.
However, the land grabbers have now adapted their techniques after seeing how ineffective their first plan was. In order to give the impression that their plan of blackmailing the government was failing, they brainwashed a few villages into claiming government land through white paper reports, which they then used as leverage to split the landed properties.
When reached for comment over the phone, Nwakamma stated, “We are working hard to ensure that we put an end to the land grabbing leader in Imo State, who is a monster that has gone wild.” That explains why you see so many attempts at blackmail against me, but it won’t stop me from carrying out the governor’s directive for Ndi Imo’s benefit.
Naturally, you are aware of how difficult it is for these individuals to simply let go after years of unlawfully obtaining government-owned land. They have been living off of it. But we will prevail by God’s help.
However, let me emphasize that we will not put up with anyone who tries to cause trouble in the state when it comes to land grabbing. With our searchlight focused, this medium is ready to provide current reports on the state’s land recovery crisis and will not hold back when disclosing the identities of those found to have participated in land grabbing.
