IHEDIOHA: My Plans For Imo State Was Aborted
Rt Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, a former governor of Imo State, laments that events outside his control prevented his vision of Imo State’s inclusion on the international map.

During the one-year memorial church service for his late mother, Dame Dorothy Nsonma , last Sunday at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Mbutu, Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State, Emeka made this statement.
Ihedioha, who held the Imo governorship for just seven months until the Supreme Court dismissed him, insisted that he still laments not realizing his aspirational goals for Imo State.
The former governor expressed gratitude to God on behalf of the family, saying that he will always be appreciative of what God has done for both the entire family and for him personally.
According to him, his mother was a kind woman who instilled in her children a respect for other people, a fear of God, and the ability to give in to temptation with anything they have.
Ihedioha continued by saying that all of his mother’s children were disciplined, and this is shown in the modest way in which they conduct their lives now.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the event with the family.
The former governor expressed gratitude to the clergy and church for helping the family throughout the final year that they were without their grandmother.
The tomb of the late Dame Nsonma Dorothy Ihedioha was later unveiled.
A formal reception was held at Ihedioha’s compound after that.
His Excellencies Abubakar Tambuwal and Limyel Imoke were present.
