Enugu University’s governing council is constituted by Mbah.
Peter Mbah, the governor of Enugu State, has named Chinyeka Ohaa as the chairman of the governing council of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

Additionally, the governor gave his approval to Prof. Ikenna Chukwu’s nominations. The members of the governing council are Dr. Eric Oluedo, Gladys Okoro, Chinedu Onu, and James Ifeanyi.
This is stated in a statement released on Tuesday and signed by Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, the Secretary to the State Government.
The statement also states that Mbah named Prof. Uchenna Ekwochi Provost of the State University of Science and Technology’s College of Medicine.
Additionally, Mr. Francis Aninwike will serve as General Manager of the Enugu State Structure for Signage and Advertisement Agency.
The announcement stated that the nominations were determined by the candidates’ exceptional leadership abilities, backgrounds, and experiences. It also stated that the appointments were intended to realign the agency’s institutions for the advancement of the state.
The statement went on, “It is anticipated that you will apply your years of experience and leadership abilities as technocrats and assist the state in realigning these agencies and institutions with the disruptive innovation and governance philosophy of this administration.”
The SSG emphasized that the appointments take effect immediately on the date of appointment, even as they extended congratulations to the recently appointed officials.
