
Another failure of the national grid has caused a nationwide outage.
Tuesday at 11:31 a.m., according to Ndiigboworldwide reports, the national grid failed.
Emeka Ezeh, the head of corporate communications for the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, confirmed that the company lost power around 11:31 a.m. on Tuesday.
“In fact, since 11:31 a.m., we have been without supplies. In our network, there has been no supply. This is our circumstance, but there is no confirmation that it is the result of a system failure,” he said.
On Tuesday afternoon, the president of the Nigeria Consumer Protection Network, Kunle Kola Olubiyo, suggested that the country experienced another grid failure.

Earlier on Tuesday, a power disruption was reported in sections of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Abuja Distribution Company, however, attributed the occurrence to a malfunction in its feeder.
