By the end of 2026, according to State Governor Peter Mbah, his government will produce and distribute energy throughout the state.

At a town hall meeting with various stakeholders on Saturday, Mbah revealed the objectives of his government to address the problems caused by the state’s epileptic power supply to companies and citizens.
By the end of 2026, we will produce and distribute power in Enugu in collaboration with the private sector. We’ll take care of electricity distribution and construct new transmission lines.
“People can come here to buy and distribute power; our goal is to guarantee that households and businesses in Enugu have a consistent supply of power.”
“One important infrastructure need for industrial development is electricity,” he stated. In order to address all legal and regulatory concerns and achieve the goal, we would establish the Enugu State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
Mbah discussed the continuing legacy project, which aims to realign the education system, in her speech.
