Enugu state Governor, Barr. Peter Mbah is set to unveil a remarkable ₦1.6 trillion ($2.1 billion) project pipeline comprising 30 projects during the inaugural Enugu State Investment and Economic Growth Stakeholder Roundtable, scheduled for Friday, September 1. The event will also witness the launch of the Enugu State Integrated Sector-Based Productivity Growth Strategy.
The Secretary of the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, disclosed this in a statement released in Enugu on Monday. This investment roundtable event will gather senior executives from notable institutions, including the World Bank Group, the African Development Bank Group, and more, to discuss strategies for leveraging private capital to drive infrastructure projects.
The project pipeline spans diverse sectors such as transportation, healthcare infrastructure, energy, power, and agro-allied industrialization, with the aim of unlocking the economic potential of Enugu State and South-Eastern Nigeria.
