Speaking at the event, Governor Soludo praised Engineer Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, for what he called “giant strides” in development, emphasizing that Makinde is exemplifying the true meaning of administration, which is to always prioritize the welfare of the people.
The host governor, Engr. Makinde, said that while his administration has carried out a great deal of infrastructural change, the road construction work is especially significant since it has resolved years of chronic traffic congestion and urban deterioration.
Governor Soludo’s unveiling of the commemorative plaque and cutting of the tape to officially open the Rashidi Ladoja circular road infrastructure marked the culmination of the event.
The speakers of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, the former military administrator of the former Oyo State, traditional rulers, and clergy are among the dignitaries in attendance.
