Tony Ejiogu, the gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, has said that the people demand new ideas and initiatives to reposition the state for economic success and growth.
Ejiogu detailed in his five-point campaign agenda his plans to revitalise Imo’s economy by bringing an agro-revolution, equipping young people with the skills they need to succeed, and ensuring the safety of the people of Imo.
With my presence, I hope to facilitate the signing of a new social contract among the Imo people. I’ve come to provide advice on how to fix our sagging economy. I’ve come to restore calm and reconstruct Imo State so that everyone there may feel secure again, he remarked.
He contended that reestablishing democratic accountability in the state would foster a climate in which ordinary people would be more receptive to engaging in open discourse and frank negotiations about how to deal with the problems posed by non-state actors.
According to Ejiogu, he has a better chance of winning the governorship of Imo State than any other contender since he is the only credible candidate who fulfils the hopes and dreams of the state’s residents.
Because he has felt the same sufferings and knows that finding solutions is what matters most to his people, he has stuck to an approach that concentrates solely on the genuine problems facing the people of the state.
