Soludo praises Air Peace’s direct trip from Lagos to London
Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, has complimented Allen Onyema, the chairman of Air Peace, on the “monumental” success of the airline’s first successful trip from Lagos to London on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

In his congrats, the governor mentioned that Nigeria’s aviation industry had achieved a significant milestone with Air Peace’s historic trip, which carried 260 passengers on a Boeing 777 with a capacity of 274 seats.
These were mentioned by Soludo in a statement released on Saturday by Christian Aburime, his press secretary.
According to him, it is a historic occasion worthy of celebration that an indigenous carrier has started operating on one of the most profitable routes from Nigeria since 2019.
The statement said as follows: “Soludo expressed delight that the new achievement reaffirms Air Peace’s position as one of the most successful private airlines in Nigeria and underscores Onyema’s status as a trailblazer in the aviation industry, while also commending Onyema, a distinguished son of Anambra State, for his exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence.”
As he continues to fly the flag of excellence for Nigeria, the governor wishes Onyema many more milestones of accomplishment, reaffirming his belief that a new Nigeria is achievable when indigenous companies like Air Peace are led by visionaries and benefit from supportive government policies.
