Shaibu stated that if he were to become president, Tinubu's presidency would be run by a cabal pulling the strings from behind the scenes, which is not effective delegation but neglect of duty.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the special assistant said that the disgraceful campaign of the APC candidate reached its lowest point at Chatham House in London, where he was expected to have sold himself.
He stated, "Six long months after becoming the party's candidate, the self-proclaimed godfather of Lagos has continued to avoid any public engagement with other candidates because his intelligence is inferior to theirs."
"He evaded an engagement at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the town hall organized by the Lagos Business School Alumni Association, and even that of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Recently, he has avoided attending the town halls hosted by Arise Television and other media outlets. Therefore, the Chatham House event was an opportunity for him to redeem himself, but he once again fell short.
"It is puzzling that Tinubu could not defend his manifesto, which he released with great fanfare," he continued. His action was analogous to a senior student inviting his peers to assist him in defending a project. Absolutely disgraceful!
